Is the FlexPatio pergola rain-proof?

While the FlexPatio pergola is built to handle typical weather, heavy rain or extreme weather conditions may cause minor leakage. The roof’s S-shaped blades channel rainwater into the built-in gutter system, which directs it down through the legs. In cases of torrential downpours, the system may overflow, similar to how gutters on a house work.

What foundation do I need for my FlexPatio pergola?

The FlexPatio pergola can be securely installed on a variety of flat, stable surfaces, as long as the space dimensions are appropriate. Compatible surfaces include concrete, resin, paving slabs, wooden or composite decking, porcelain tiles, and other types of tile.

While not mandatory, we recommend placing concrete pads beneath the porcelain tiles where the pergola’s feet will rest. Alternatively, a full concrete base (instead of sand or gravel) can further enhance stability and the pergola's long-term durability.

Can the FlexPatio pergola be moved once assembled?

Yes, the pergola can be moved after assembly. It can also be disassembled if you need to relocate or move to a new home.

How do I secure my FlexPatio pergola to the ground?

The pergola includes 16 expansion screws (0.3") to secure the base. As long as the surface is flat and stable, you can fasten the pergola to various surfaces like concrete, resin, paving slabs, wooden or composite decking, and porcelain or other tiles. For added stability, placing concrete pads beneath the pergola’s feet or opting for a full concrete base (instead of sand or gravel) is recommended to extend the structure's longevity.
