About This Showroom
Ziang turned a quiet corner of his backyard in San Rafael into a warm, nature-wrapped outdoor dining space. After clearing a section of the garden, he created a semi-enclosed area surrounded by greenery and installed a pergola right in the middle—making it the perfect place for family meals and weekend gatherings.
Under the pergola, he set up a large natural-wood outdoor dining table with six woven rattan chairs, all sitting on a bed of light-colored gravel that gives the space a clean, outdoorsy feel. Behind the pergola, close to the dark wooden fence, he planted small, dense green shrubs, creating a beautiful natural screen that adds both privacy and texture.
On the fence side, he added a full outdoor grill setup, making it easy to cook and serve right in the space. To keep the area comfortable in any lighting or season, Ziang installed four roller shades around the pergola, giving him flexible control over shade, privacy, and sun protection.
The result is a calm, inviting backyard dining zone that feels both natural and intentionally designed—perfect for dinners, parties, or just enjoying the fresh California air.
