Flex patio over top of a hot tub with glass doors to protect from the wind.
The glass doors looks great. For my pergola build, I purchased the 13 x 20 size and wanted to have one side versatile enough to completely "close off" as if I had a 13 x 10 room. To do all this, I did have to customize the build, but after everything came together, it was nice! For my side walls, I used the glass doors and Powered Roller Shades.
very professional
2 Stars | Beautiful Pergola, Brutal Experience The pergola itself is beautiful and appears to be a quality product. Unfortunately, the buying and installation experience was one of the most frustrating home improvement projects we've ever undertaken. We ordered in March 2026 and what should have been a straightforward installation wasn't considered complete until September 2026. Along the way we endured 7 installation visits, 3 separate shipments to obtain the correct parts/components, property damage, installation errors, safety concerns, and countless follow-ups. The biggest issue was communication and accountability. Calls weren't returned, Messenger and WhatsApp messages often went unanswered, and email responses were slow. There was virtually no real-time support. Because installers are third-party contractors, we frequently felt like we were managing the project ourselves and coordinating between FlexPatio and multiple installation crews. What concerned us most was discovering important installation requirements after the sale. We were sold options that ultimately could not be installed as originally planned, and we later learned that: Each heater requires its own dedicated household outlet and cannot be plugged into the pergola's built-in outlet. Connected pergola configurations require separate power connections. These requirements were not clearly disclosed on the website and only surfaced during installation, resulting in additional cost and coordination. To FlexPatio's credit, they have provided compensation and worked to address many of the issues. However, customers shouldn't need six months, seven installation visits, three replacement shipments, and repeated escalations to get a project completed. Pergola: 5/5 Installation: 1/5 Communication: 1/5 A pergola should improve your backyard, not become a part-time job.
