I love my flex patio, was fairly easy to put up with 3 people. Had some problems with damaged product when it arrived due to poor packaging. Distributed stood behind it and shipped me new parts. Would make some recommendations to improve product. Product is being sold as plug it in to a receptacle. Who buys a nice pergola like this and plugs it in? Needs to be ready to hard wire . Plugging into a receptical with an extension cord run across the ground for someone to trip over is cheeze. I wired it and all is good . Just constructive advise. I love it and would do it again.
We got 2 instead of 1 large one so now we have 2 that we can't control bc the electric is so far away and the remotes broke within weeks. I got the r bridge but that's not working either. Not impressed with anything so far. Algae comes out the bottom of 2 base supports but not from the other pagoda which is worrisome. Customer service is sketchy.
We recently installed a FlexPatio pergola in our backyard, and it has completely transformed our outdoor space. Our primary goal was to create more privacy around our hot tub, and this pergola delivered exactly what we were looking for.
The design is modern, sleek, and high-end looking. It blends perfectly with our patio and immediately makes the entire area feel more like an outdoor resort than a backyard. The added privacy has made our hot tub much more enjoyable, allowing us to relax without feeling exposed to neighbors.
The quality of the materials exceeded my expectations. The structure feels sturdy and well-built, and once installed, it became an impressive focal point of our outdoor living area. We've already received numerous compliments from friends and neighbors asking where we purchased it.
Another thing we love is how functional it is. Beyond providing privacy, it adds shade during the day and creates a comfortable gathering space for evenings outdoors. The pergola has essentially given us an extra "room" outside that our family uses every day.
Installation required some effort, but the final result was absolutely worth it. Looking back, this has been one of the best investments we've made in our home and outdoor lifestyle.

Ease of installation was a very big plus for me. You get what you pay for and this is an expensive product, but after it’s all said and done, I’m extremely pleased with how everything transpired.
Ordering and delivery was exceptional. The guys I hired to put it together were very impressed with the quality and directions. They were saying that they were going to look into buying them for themselves and recommend them to their customers. The screens give more shade than I had even hoped for, and the LED lights and power station being included was a bonus! So far- very happy with my decision!
My wife and I love the pergola. Set up was not too bad. We had 3 people. It did take us about 8ish hours to put up the pergola itself not including the attachments. Underneath stayed dry during some rain. The lights are great, I only wish that it had a warm light setting, but to me, it not enough to take anything away from the review. I do have this on my deck. We put up our pergola here in coastal North Carolina. It completely changed how we use our backyard. We finally have a nice shaded spot to relax and enjoy the view.
The best part is not having to cover the furniture or bring in the cushions every time it rains. My husband, who's in his 60s, built it mostly by himself and said the instructions were easy to follow. We added a strip of weather seal where it meets the wall and that stopped a little bit of dripping.
It looks amazing, feels super sturdy, and everyone who visits loves it. We've already told a bunch of friends about it.

Very good product. I watched the install videos a few times before we got started, and the setup went smoothly. My son and son-in-law helped out. We got most of it done in one afternoon.
All the parts were labeled clearly. The roof louvers took the longest, but everything else was pretty straightforward.
At first, the motorized shades weren't responding, but customer support got back to us right away and sent over a troubleshooting video. After all we got it done the same day.
I was super excited to be invited as one of the first FlexPatio beta users. After a hurricane last year destroyed our old patio cover, we hadn't installed anything new until I found this. I ordered the 10x13 model with 6-inch posts, and it arrived 11 days later. Since I wanted to run the electrical wiring underground, I hired a local contractor for the installation. They had it fully assembled in just 5 hours. For me it didn't seem too hard to DIY either. The only thing that took a bit of time was getting the motorized shades paired with the remote correctly. My kids and I love how the pergola turned out.
The customer service rep I spoke to on the phone was very patient, we talked for over 20 minutes, and I also received a bunch of helpful follow-up emails from their team. They offer a 100-day trial, full refund if you're not satisfied, which gave me the confidence to place the order. Once it arrived, I knew right away I wouldn't be sending it back. Shipping was quick since the warehouse is local in PA. Came in 9 boxes, all in perfect shape.
They recommended an installer they work with here in PA, which saved me a lot of hassle (and money).
Now I spend nearly every evening under the pergola. There's a built-in outlet where I plug in our mosquito repellent. Once the heater is restock, I'll definitely be adding it to the setup. Very happy with it.

Love our Flex Patio! this product is well made and looks beautiful in our yard. Slight disappointment is quality control before packing; there were scratches on the beams definitely prior to shipping. Flex Patio did supply touchup paint.
Total nightmare dealing with them.
I ended up canceling my order and getting a full refund due to the following set backs by the seller
lack of commuinications (only responds to emails and takes long time to respond)
Taking longer than promised to ship my order
Refusal to answer the phone or call back (called them and txt’ed them on whatsapp many times and requested a call back)
Terrible logestics (unable to solve shipping and delivery issues with trucking company and got me involved with carrier to have my order delivered to me and never got delivered)
Shipped my order to a different state and denied my order was even picked up from them (was called by the carrier to deliver my order to an address in Texas instead of Illinois and when i called the seller they said my order could not be picked up from the wearhouse due to its size . Either not telling the truth or my info was leaked)
I wish I could have reviewed the actual Pergola instead of the company that i dealt with.
Bought the pergola first gen but a few days later the 2nd gen was released. Flex was flexible enough to let me modify the order and get the 2nd gen. This was first part of the amazing experience.
Then came the bad. Extremely delayed delivery. Want to be clear it was on Ceva and pilot/maersk but still… damaged parts, impolite drivers the whole nine.
But back to flex, they helped get things on track and were very communicative. Parts left the warehouse just fine it’s the 3PLs in the middle messing things up.
Excited for many days/nights in both summer and winter. Love how modular this thing is.
Overall, I had a very frustrating experience purchasing and having my pergola delivered.
Initially, I purchased a model that was attached but was told the item was not in stock until the following month. This was communicated after I had completed my purchase. Due to the item not being stocked, I chose an item I was told would be in stock and available for immediate delivery. In short, my order was shipped two months after and way past the date I was told my initial selection would be restocked at the warehouse.
Additionally, the courier scheduled and canceled delivery unexpectedly on three separate occasions causing me to miss time away from work without pay.
The actual install was the only thing I would say went "smooth"; however, I did notice a dent on one of the beems. Small but significant considering how much I've paid.
I would not recommend or purchase again from Flexpatio. Happy to share any additional feedback and email threads showing the above exchanges.

On April 29, 2026, we paid $14,593 for a pergola. On May 25, 2026, it was delivered., sort of. The driver and I stood there looking at broken glass everywhere in the back of the truck. Who delivers glass in cardboard boxes???
Ever since that day, to put it mildly, it has been a total s***show.
Flex Patio has emailed us a handful of times, but that is it. There was going to be another shipper to deliver an undamaged pergola. But that apparent shipper canceled, it seems, because the pergola was too large for them to handle.
The last email we have from Flex Patio, dated Saturday, June 14, 2026, said "I'd like to reassure you that it [the pergola] is nearly ready for shipment ... [and] we will provide you with tracking information by this week at the latest."
Well, last week came and went, and we still have no evidence Flex Patio is doing anything substantial to see that we receive an undamaged pergola for the nearly $15,000 we paid them almost two months ago now.
(Flex Patio did send back to us $400 after the damaged delivery: perhaps that was the cost of the shipping; also, the fan and heater have been delivered; but we do not know if they are damaged, because they are still in their boxes, not to be opened unless and until we actually receive the pergola to be built).
This company could improve by doing its own shipping or at least having very reliable vendors for that. It could also improve by having much more responsive customer service. Under the circumstances--the expense of the item, the damaged delivery, the time that has passed and continues to do so--emails simply are not adequate.
In sum, we spent nearly 15k almost two months ago and still don't have what we paid for or know when we will receive it, undamaged.
The overall pergola is nice and was fairly easy to put together. The issue I had was that the boxes the pergola came in were pretty beaten up, so much so we had scratches on the beams, most minor but one pretty significant. Two of louvers for the ceiling were bent and scratched pretty deep and unusable. Customer service has been excellent, I have received touch up paint and they are sending replacement louvers.
The order was easy to place ,but the shipping was less than expected as it was late by three weeks. Customer Support was also slow in its response to shipping and constructing of the pergola. The pergola itself is a great product and I hope FlexPatio works on its logistics and Customer Support.
I ordered it in early May! When I ordered it, it said it would be here May 26. Here we are on 10 June and it still hasn't even shipped...You have to do better than this BS. :( If it's not here soon just give me my F'ing money back.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with FlexPatio.
The company was very responsive when it came to making the sale, but once payment was made, communication became extremely difficult. Phone calls and messages were not returned, and getting updates on my order was nearly impossible.
I paid thousands of dollars for my purchase, but after more than two months, I have received less than 20% of the parts. Some of the parts that did arrive were damaged, and I am still waiting for the remaining components.
The lack of communication, delays, and damaged shipments have been incredibly frustrating. At this point, I feel completely ignored as a customer. Because of this experience, I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and exploring legal options.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend FlexPatio and would strongly advise potential customers to do thorough research before placing an order.
Love the Pergola went together fairly easily but it is heavy you definitely need 3 people when dealing with the 16 footers. I wish the communication was better from order to delivery. Didn’t know when or how long until delivery hard to schedule man power when nobody has a clue on when it would arrive.
Flexpatio kept us informed throughout the build and delivery of the product. They were always proactive in communicating the status of the build and the delivery to our home couldn't have been easier. The installation instructions were easy to follow. We love the quality and design of the pergola and enjoy the complements we receive from guests.
